Drake University- November 13, 2007
November 15, 2007
Hello from Iowa!
Our first stop here was a nice one… we have come to realize that a cappella is pretty popular here in the midwest.. and it shows through the colleges we have performed at… Tonight, Pick 6, the all male group from Drake University opened for us, and they were great! Singing a little bit of Rockapella and Eclipse, both pretty popular a cappella groups out here… the group was great.
Another great night for us as well… tonight marked the return of Buried Myself Alive, with a couple of tricks added, thanks to our sound guy, Alex Weber. He truly has been a great addition to The Fault Line and we cannot thank him enough…
Day 2 in Iowa… Marshalltown Community College…

Concordia College- November 9, 2007
November 11, 2007
In our first trip to the midwest, I feel like we have already impressed many. In just our first stop on this tour, 250+ came to see The Fault Line perform at Concordia College. Thank you to Six Appeal, the all male group from Concordia for opening the show with a solid set.
For Matt, Adam and I, the experience we had performing for the Concordia audience was special. Having it be our first time in the midwest, it was a wonderful time. For Jeff, this was a sweet homecoming experience. Jeff’s father was in attendance tonight, and I think it was a very special moment.
We have a few days off. We plan on hitting up the Mall of America, as well as taking in some more sights of Minnesota and Iowa before our show at Drake University this coming Tuesday…

After a week-long stay in the Albany area, performing for several students through the Center for Arts in Education in Albany, The Fault Line presented an evening concert to help benefit the Brookside Museum in Ballston Spa. All proceeds from the benefit will be used to fund educational programs that the Brookside Museum sponsors for students and adults alike. It was a wonderful evening, as we saw close to 300 people show their support. The nice thing was that people from each school we performed at in the past 2 weeks came to show their support for a wonderful cause.
We had a wonderful act open for us from Skidmore College, The Drastic Measures. Singing songs by Michael Buble, The Turtles and others, the Drastic Measures did an excellent job.
The group is heading to the midwest for the first time ever, singing at colleges in Minnesota and Iowa, and stopping by a high school in Dayton, Ohio before returning back to New York for an elementary school show and another show at The Haunt in Ithaca. Be sure to keep checking out the website for more info.
Also, our newest album is in the middle of production. More details coming soon!

Week in Review- October 22-26, 2007
October 28, 2007
After a quick but glorious stay in Montana, we found ourselves back in Albany, supporting and representing the Center for Arts in Eduation, performing for many schools in the Albany area. Each student had a wonderful time… and it was a blast teaching them and their teachers vocal percussion… haha. So much spit in one area… crazy!
Friday night, we had a performance at The Haunt in Ithaca, NY. A small but intimate crowd came to support us, as well as the talented group, Father Son. Their music is wonderful… be sure to check them out at www.myspace.com/fathersonmusic . Great stuff.
We are back in the Albany area for a couple more shows in the local schools… finishing up with a Benefit Concert this Saturday @ Ballston Spa Middle School!

Montana State Student Council Conference- October 22, 2007
October 23, 2007
What happens when you get 500+ teachers and students from one state together in one room? A lot of screaming… The Fault Line brought an evening of entertainment to the Montana Association of Student Councils tonight and it was a fantastic show. By far, one of the most energetic crowds that The Fault Line has seen. How energetic? We saw the longest train in Banana Boat ever… some random fan came up during Stand By Me, just to hug Jeff and Adam. There was always someone standing up from their seats, and even teachers and parents were getting involved by singing along and dancing around!
Our next stop.. several schools in the Albany area to do some workshops and assemblies…

SUNY Cortland- October 20, 2007
October 22, 2007
What a wonderful homecoming for Adam and The Fault Line. A crowd of close to 400 packed into SUNY Cortland’s Brown Auditorium to see us perform. Adam, being from Cortland was supported well by many of his family and friends. It was also a good time for the rest of us to see some of our old friends that we haven’t seen since we left Ithaca.
Many families packed in for Family Weekend and they enjoyed every minute of it. We received 2 standing ovations tonight, and we could not be more thankful. Are You Gonna Be My Girl, Sky and Use Me all received tons of praise and we thank all of our fans, old and new, for making each and every night that we perform a great time. Thank you SUNY Cortland for an amazing homecoming!
Next Stop… Glasgow, Montana

St. John Fisher College- October 18, 2007
October 19, 2007
Oh boy! What a fun night in Rochester! St. John Fisher was an amazing time for all of us. It was our first college show in a few weeks and it was good to get back to that level. The students at St. John Fisher were very responsive and had a wonderful time! Thank you Tara and Justin and the gang for all of their help! We truly appreciate it!
Song-wise… Use Me is definately starting to take shape, as well as Stand By Me. Obviously, Stand By Me has been a staple song of the group since we started out, but it has evolved into such an amazing song in our set. I truly enjoy how little things change every night in the song. I think that helps make us unique. A different show every night.
Tomorrow… we drive… right across the street… at Nazareth College. It truly will be amazing!

Prospect Hill Elementary School- October 15, 2007
October 19, 2007
What a wonderful day at Prospect Hill. We did a couple of assemblies through the day and the students loved it! The night concert was just as much fun. Prospect Hill was built in 1929 and has such a wonderful classic look to it for an elementary school. Their auditorium was recently restored to its original condition and it was an amazing place to perform in.
In the concert, we ended up bringing up some more adults to learn some vocal percussion. One of those adults just so happened to be the principal of the school! He was very cooperative, and he even started singing along at one point! It was such a good time!

Northeastern Clinton Central School (NCCS)- October 12, 2007
October 14, 2007
Honestly… this has to be one of our favorite high schools to perform at. We were able to work with the school’s select a cappella groups, Kaliedisaic and The Acoustifellas. Last year we had them sing Move Along and Welcome to My Life. This year, we had them perform The Freshmen and Dark Blue. And to top it off… they learned their music in one week!!! It goes to show the hard work and dedication that these students put into their music.
Our special surprise… awarding Mrs. Kathy Kokes with our 2007 Exceptional Teacher Award. We congratulate her in everything she has done for her students. The Fault Line has performed at NCCS for 3 years, and Kathy is by far one of the most dedicated mentors we have ever seen. We were happy to give her this award, and the students were just as happy.
Such an amazing night for everyone, and we are truly looking forward to going back to NCCS in the near future!

Fishkill Elementary School- October 11, 2007
October 14, 2007
What a great time at Fishkill Elementary School. After doing a couple of assemblies in the day, students came back to our evening concert to enjoy a whole set. We even got the parents in the action by bringing some up on stage to learn some vocal percussion. The parents were a little embarrassed, and their children couldn’t have been happier. Jeff and I got a little crazy with Hakuna Matata tonight… but the audience seemed to love it anyway.
It is off to Northeastern Clinton Central School for a full day of assemblies, workshops and an evening concert, along with a special surprise….
